Sunny Isle Motel

What an absolute gem of a motel! We booked two rooms for six people and were blown away the moment we walked in. The rooms were fresh, clean, and bright—clearly newly renovated and just spectacular. The beds were super comfy and spotless, exactly what you need for a great night’s sleep. The space itself was surprisingly roomy and welcoming, perfect to relax in at the end of a busy day. The bathrooms? Outstanding—modern, fresh, and spotless. Honestly, I couldn’t have been happier with this find. My family and parents were just as thrilled, and we’re already planning to come back next year. The owner deserves a special shoutout—so kind, attentive, and always quick to respond to any requests over text. You can really tell how much care has gone into renovating and running this place. We stayed for two nights, but I easily could’ve stayed much longer. Looking forward to coming back next summer, this time for an even longer stay!

We arrived later than they're open for because we got lost in the city and the owner was nice enough to come down and give us a room. We ended up in room 6 of Sunnyside (10/10 would recommend). It was incredibly clean, had amazing facilities, a gorgeous gazebo, comfortable beds and so much more. I only wish we were staying in PEI longer so we could spend another night here. My daughter and I absolutely loved our stay and would come again!

This motel is an absolute gem. Fresh, clean and modern. Owners are responsive, courteous and incredible kind. AND a great price! Our experience was wondeful and we had a great vacation in PEI! We will be back next year!

This is definitely not your grandfather’s motel. This is in a class of its own Unbelievably clean and quiet Great gazebo and grounds Parking might be considered tight to some people and during this heatwave of 35*C/ 95 F the AC is maxed out Overall great job Aaron and nice meeting you Ask for room 22 you will not be disappointed.

Room was very well priced and very clean. The staff are super friendly, the fish made out of a towel was a nice touch. Washer and dryer on site was a bonus for us. Lots of channels on the tv and the shampoo and conditioner were good quality. There is a gazebo and picnic tables with pretty gardens.

We had such a lovely stay here! Our room was very clean and completely updated - the bathroom especially is very nice. We had a room with a balcony, which was so peaceful. The grounds around back are gorgeous and there’s a very pretty view. Staff was so friendly, courteous, and welcoming. Only thing to note is that if you’re staying in one of the rooms facing the road, there can be a lot of traffic noise since it’s a busy road - I’m sure a room around the back would be a lot quieter if that was an issue for you. The hotel is also very close to lots of amenities in Summerside.

We (4 senior couples) from Pictou County, NS booked this motel following the recommendation of 1 of the couples who had stayed there previously. As it turned out, we were very wise to follow the advice. This motel was all that we were promised and more. The most important aspect in our trip is choosing clean accommodations and we were rewarded with this gem of a beautiful property as well as wonderful owners whose goal is to provide these amenities to its guests. Beautiful location in a scenic part of summerside PEI when we requested a change of toiletries (towels and the like) the wonderful room cleaning person saw my stuffed dog and made an adorable towel dog with the new towels to keep my stuffed dog company while I was at Air Show Atlantic. 5 out of 5 room cleaning. The room itself is amazing, a perfect mix of vintage style and modern comfort. I also loved the cool system to let room cleaning know what you want done, it uses magnets for clean the room, do not disturb, and towels and toiletries. Which I thought was very creative. Overall very impressed with Sunny Isle Motel, I WILL stay here agian.
